How to Play

Step 1: Assess Your Situation

• Read the current season description to understand the main threats
• Check your vulnerabilities list to see what needs fixing
• Note your available budget in the top stats

Step 2: Shop for Solutions

The Weatherproofing Solutions Shop shows available improvements:

Card Colors:

• Green Border: Affordable solutions you can buy now
• Red Border: Too expensive for your current budget
• Checkmark (✅): Already installed

Solution Information:

• Name: Type of weatherproofing measure
• Cost: How much it costs to implement
• Effectiveness: How much protection percentage it adds
• Description: What the solution does and why it helps

Step 3: Make Purchases

• Click on green-bordered solution cards to buy them
• Your budget decreases by the cost
• Your home protection percentage increases
• The solution moves to your "Protection Installed" list
• Related vulnerabilities are removed from your vulnerability list

Step 4: Test Your Preparations

• Simulates the current season's weather event
• Your protection level determines how well you survive
• High Protection (80%+): Weather passes safely, earn bonus points
• Medium Protection (50-79%): Minor damage, small repair costs

• Advances to the next season (Spring → Summer → Fall → Winter → Spring...)
• Adds $200 to your budget (monthly income)
