ADMISSIONS - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I. ATTENDANCE

A minimum attendance of 90% is required during the academic year, failing which the student will not be allowed to take the examination that year.

  1. No leave shall be granted to the student unless a written application, duly signed by the parents, is submitted to the Principal as soon as possible, based on which leave may be granted. Every student is required to be present on the reopening day after each vacation. The name of the student shall be struck off the school rolls if he/she remains absent from school without approved leave for 15 days. In such a case, he/she will have to be re-admitted to the school, and a re-admission fee of Rs. 1,000 will be required. Such re-admission will be completely at the discretion of the school management. A fine of Rs. 100 per day shall be payable by the student for the absence.
  2. No leave will be sanctioned during the examination period.
  3. No student is allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without the written permission of the Principal. If any student leaves the school campus without permission, the school management shall have the right to lodge the necessary police complaint. At the same time, the school will not be held responsible for any mishap or untoward incident/accident that may take place under such circumstances.

II. FEE

  1. The fee charged by the school is reasonable. Payment of fees will be made in the manner as stipulated by the school's management.
  2. The school shall be entitled to increase the fee by 10% - 15% every year without any prior notice to the parents. The school shall have the right to further revise the fee and fee structure in view of any change in government policies and/or economic conditions (including, but not limited to, inflation, etc.).
  3. A late fee shall be payable in the event of delay in payment of the fee due to any reasons whatsoever and shall be paid along with the fee within 15 days from the due date as prescribed by the school. Failing this, the school's management may disallow the student from attending the school or participating in any of its activities and also withhold hall tickets, internal examination results, reports, transfer certificates, leaving certificates, or recommendations to future schools or colleges.
  4. Withdrawal of the student from the school shall be subject to written notice to the school's management at least one term in advance or payment of the term's fee in lieu of such notice. Failing this, the student or his/her parents shall not be entitled to demand his/her school leaving certificate.
  5. Fee once paid will not be refunded upon expulsion/withdrawal of the student from the school.

III. GENERAL RULES

  1. Parents should ensure that their wards comply with the policies of the school in relation to dress code, personal cleanliness, and hygiene. Students shall have neatly trimmed and combed hair and trimmed nails. They shall wear clean and well-ironed school uniforms and polished shoes as prescribed by the school. Students are not allowed to use nail polish, mehendi, hair color, perfumes, deodorants, or other fashionable items at school. Upon failure to comply with these rules, the student may be disallowed from attending school and may be sent back home.
  2. Parents are encouraged to discuss their ward's progress with the school teachers and Principal from time to time.
  3. Parents are requested to inform the school of any change in address.
  4. No visitors, including parents/guardians or servants, will be allowed in the school to meet teachers or students in the classrooms without prior permission from the Principal.
  5. Attendance of at least one parent is mandatory at the parent-teacher meetings organized by the school from time to time.
  6. Any student suffering from any contagious disease will not be allowed to attend school without a fitness certificate from an authorized medical practitioner.
  7. Students are not allowed to bring any ornaments, audio/video players, radio devices, games, mobile phones, or any other expensive or valuable items to school. If a student is found to be in possession of mobile phones or similar communication devices, the device will be confiscated and a fine of Rs. 1,000 will be imposed for the first time. Upon any repeated instance, the student will be expelled from the school without any notice.
  8. The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of personal belongings of the student. Every student is responsible for his/her own belongings.
  9. The student shall be responsible to the school authorities for his/her conduct both in and outside the school.
  10. It is compulsory for students to participate in school functions, sports, cultural, and literary activities.
  11. No unauthorized book, newspaper, periodical, or any publication should be brought to school by students without the sanction of the Principal.
  12. Care must be taken of all school property by the students. Students should not scratch or spoil desks or chairs, damage any school furniture/bus, write or draw anything on the walls, or in any way damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher or the Principal, and the repair/replacement cost will be borne by the parents.

IV. UNDERTAKINGS AND DECLARATIONS

We unconditionally undertake and declare that:

  1. We will abide by the terms and conditions herein and the rules and regulations of the school, which may be revised from time to time.
  2. In the event that the school building is undergoing any renovation/infrastructure upgrade/structure extension/construction/facilities addition, or any other reason beyond the reasonable control of the school management results in delay of commencement of classes in any academic year, we shall not hold the school management responsible for any such delay. We acknowledge and confirm that in any such eventuality, the school will remain closed until such time as such renovation/upgrade/construction/repair has been completed or the reason which caused the delay has ceased to exist. In the event of such delay, the school may, by taking extended classes beyond normal school time or by reducing the number of holidays or such other means as deemed reasonable, attempt to complete the prescribed syllabus, and we undertake to extend all cooperation to the school management in this regard.
  3. Our ward may be expelled from the school in the event of any one or all of the following:
    • a) Upon determination that any document or information provided by us to the school is found to be false or misleading.
    • b) Upon failure by us to pay the school fee, fines, penalties, etc., as per the terms and conditions herein.
    • c) Upon failure by us to furnish any information in relation to the ward as may be sought by the school within 7 days of the receipt of intimation seeking such information.
  4. The school may, at its discretion, conduct any disciplinary action against the ward for any of his/her acts which, in its opinion, are in contravention of the terms and conditions as may be applicable to the ward. It may, if the ward is found guilty, suspend the ward from the school and disallow the ward from attending the school for such number of days as the school may deem fit. Any disciplinary action taken against our ward by the school will be binding on us.
  5. Under no circumstances shall the school authorities be required to divulge to us or others any confidential information or the identities of persons who provide information which leads to the expulsion/removal or suspension of our ward.
  6. We will abide by the rules and regulations of the laboratory, library facilities, and all other facilities provided by the school to its students.
  7. We shall not hold the school liable for any damages or charges entirely on account of injuries sustained by our ward during his/her stay at the school or while using any of the school facilities or school-arranged picnics/excursions.
  8. We will discuss our complaints and grievances with the management of the school and will try to settle the same amicably. We shall not participate in any agitation, demonstration, or acts prejudicial to the school/its management/any of its staff members.
  9. We will regularly examine our ward's school almanac and notes and endeavor to ensure that the homework assigned to our ward is completed by him/her in time. We will acknowledge the remarks made in the school almanac of our ward.
  10. Fee paid by us will not be refunded following expulsion, and all pending dues must be paid.
  11. Our ward has never been debarred from studying in any school or appearing in any examination in a previous school. He/she is healthy and fit for undergoing the school's activities of theoretical inputs, outdoor activities, and co-curricular activities essential for school education.
  12. The school holds the right to use our child's photography or his/her creative work, talent, or knowledge for any publicity or promotional purposes unless an objection for the same has been expressed by us and intimated in writing with acceptable reasons before the commencement of the academic year.
  13. All the information and documents furnished by us in relation to the admission of our ward are true and correct.

V. CHANGE OF RULES

The parents or guardians understand and agree that the school will have the right to amend/alter its policies, rules, and terms and conditions mentioned herein without notice to them. Any modification, as and when made, will be binding on the parents/guardians and the ward.

CONSENT FORM

(Field Trip/Educational Tours/Outings/Outdoor Activities)

We are aware that our ward will be using school bus service, if any provided by the school, for traveling to school or will be taken out for outings/field trips/educational tours/outdoor activities spread over the academic session. We are also aware that the bus-in-charge and teachers/tour-in-charge will take utmost precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our ward. However, we will not demand any compensation or hold any claim against the management, principal, teacher, or any other representative of the school responsible for any untoward incident/accident which may result in any loss or injury to our ward or his/her property/belongings that occurred due to using the school bus service or participating in any such outing/field trip/educational tour/outdoor activity.
